NOTE: This is the same V17 Full Package as the #TU10 version, I have just re-exported it out for #TU11

What's New in V17:


V17 sees a really nice advancement in a number of areas. The mod is playing so nicely now, with a real sense of differentiation, balance and fluidity.

- World Class players feel much more fluid to use. They are more responsive than before, take better touches and a more reliable from a technical perspective.

- You will find the CPU plays more creatively than on previous versions, especially compared to V16 and V16.1.

- There's been a significant amount of work put in to create a more tangible and noticeable impact on players off ball abilities based on their stats.

This results in matches that feel different - with you being able to properly create space against lower rated opposition, even within your own league. You will also feel the difference when going up against the very best off ball teams now.

- There has been a change in the way fouls are called. You will find more fouls called for mindlessly pressing, especially with tackles from behind.

- Goalkeepers will be behave more naturally. You will see a lot less 'super human' saves and predictable outcomes now.

- Various small adjustments to players traits and abilities. You will find some more standout Player ID.

NOTE:

I've toned down the passing error system in V17 compared to V16 as I know it's not suited to everyone - plus it was resulting in some cases of the CPU not being as creative in their attacking approach. For those who love it, it's still available as an option in the 'Full Gameplay Package'.

NOTE 2 (Regarding 'Slow' version):

I feel like I have to add, that those of you who jump straight to the 'Slow' version, I really think you're potentially missing out on some features of the mod - including animations. The regular version plays nowhere near as fast as you would think - everything has been slowed down from the default game!

If you're a person who goes straight to slow and doesn't try the others, I highly recommend to start with the regular first. Remember speed and behaviour are linked!

NOTE 3 (REGARDING FOULS):

This is a bit of a work in progress as it's an extremely tricky area, but you will find you have to think more about your body positioning, timing and even just how close you get when defending. It adds a really nice, realistic element to the game.

IMPORTANT: If you're finding there's too many cards or you don't like the fouls - then put the referee strictness to 'VERY LENIENT' in game to reduce cards.

If you still don't like it, then use the 'Vanilla Referee Version'.

Hey thank you for the amazing work. I am having fun with fifa again thanks to you. But I am having a problem right now. Hoping that you or someone else can help me. When I try the slow version or try to use the variations that slow the game more like slower walk speed, game seems to run even faster than before. I did change some sliders while tweaking can that mess up the game? I tried to change them back but game still playing really fast like it has no gameplay mod applied but my other visual mods are working fine. I reverted back to the default speed gameplay version but it still felt the same. Like it is not registering or something. I don’t know what caused it. Do you have any ideas to help me resolve this? Thanks again.

Hey man your work here is freaking amazing! Been really enjoying all these little variation mods to really change up gameplay. If you ever get chance I'd love an option for MORE blocks. I play on 20m halves so am trying to get matches that match actual real match stats. Also, one thing I've wanted for ages now (though I realise is almost impossible) is to keep the AI difficulty but to decrease pass accuracy across the board for lower rated players/low leagues. Real matches in EFL league 2 regularly have matches with pass accuracies in the 60s. In EAFC I find the AI still has high 70s/ low 80s even on these lower leagues and the moment you try to drop it with sliders they just become easy to beat. Anyway keep up the good work mate, any suggestions to help out would be hugely appreciated :)

Hi, could you please check the alternative positioning option 2 #TU11 (V16 positioning but with a modified back 5), which increases the overall speed, including passing speed, and acts like a different ver? However, I like this version and would like it to remain. Also, the other options don't seem to work well when this option is applied.

Thank you for the great work you've done here. The mod has really increased my general playing experience of the game, I still have two problems though : First the skating effect!! Second, the horrible dribbling! Even with players of 80+ dribbling and ball control, using only left stick the dribble, the ball never move near the player's feet, and always go far away illogically!!

Hi, thanks for joining. The skating is something that cannot be completely eliminated until EA focus on a more physics based animation system. However, I've done a lot of work to reduce this. If animations if your key focus, then I suggest trying 'Popular Older Version - Base D' as you might find the animations are better in that version, despite it coming at the cost of some player individuality. Regarding the dribbling, this isn't my experience at all where good dribblers can't control the ball with the left stick. You have to be mindful on the sprint button, there's a strong risk/reward with that by design, but there's a big difference between strong and weak dribblers now. Stick with it for a while, it takes some learning to adjust to my mod vs default game :)

Hey man. I just double checked, and that option has a couple of very specific changes only. Nothing at all to do with pass speed or anything like it. It's a minor adjustment in a few key areas.

Not to be a dick but this "mod" feels rubbish! It's easy to see that fundamentally it's just a slowed down gameplay and the other "features" listed are sporadic byproducts of slowing the game down and there's no real control that the modder eventually has to mitigate the core problems of the game. It almost feels like the worst problems of the game have been exacerbated-- AI still presses with insane stamina for 90 minutes, all 50-50s go to the AI, impossible to outrun a bulky centre back with a 90-something winger and likewise impossible to come within even 10 yards of an AI attacked if they manage to get in behind. This is exactly all the things that happen if you just change the gameplay speed to slow. I don't see anything groundbreaking here tbh. Feels like a chore at times, kind of like PES2021-- but I suppose a lot of people like that kind of stuff so perhaps that's the aim here in any case but it's not for everyone's taste

I don't mind you having an opinion, but man you're coming in strong for someone who signed up about 10 minutes ago. To simply suggest the mod has only been slowed down and that's all is completely ridiculous. It doesn't even sound like you've installed it properly/read the settings etc. If you have and it's not to your taste then that's fine, no issues at all. However, to suggest it's simply slower animations and that's all is reflective of your lack of understanding more than anything else. You absolutely can out run slow, bulky CBs and you can also catch up slower forwards. All 50-50s don't go to the AI either. That's just an inaccurate statement that you're presenting as a fact. Listen, no-one has said this is the perfect game, and if it's not for you - as I said no issues, but please don't come on here and label this 'rubbish' when you've barely even used the mod and have no idea what's involved or what work has been done.

I think you may have misread the tone because I am not saying everyone ought to feel the same way about the mod. I just have a strong first impression of it which is enough to put me off it and I expressed how things felt to me. I am not claiming that you and your work's a sham-- most of the features just felt too insignificant in terms of overall improvement to the game and that's really all I've tried to say. No worries, it can't be for everyone. I can absolutely assure you however that there are very significant changes made to the core game. Obviously I'm still working in the parameters of the engine itself, so things like 1v1 I cannot remove, I can't make a new physics based animation system etc, but there's a huge range of important changes made with very meaningful results. I'm not selling a dream, and there's hundreds of people in here who can see the changes. All good though - thanks for trying man. Finally, I love PES at heart - but I do agree that playing PES 2021 is a chore though haha.

I see, I always relied on left stick dribbling on default game, was quite reliable, and God mode with Messi hhhhh. But with your mod is so hard, and the ball really travel away with just a simple dribbling change of the ball direction, I'll try to test it thoroughly, still great mod and great work done, Kudos❤️

Guys, something I noticed yesterday...... I have a Rog Ally and I loaded up my mod and was playing a couple of games.... I started to notice a particular defensive behaviour that I know was not present in the same version I've been playing on my PC. The rest of the mod was working, but there was a very specfic behaviour that clearly had been fixed in previous versions that was still happening on my Ally... My EA app was also behaving a little strange. I couldn't figure it out at all, so decided to completely uninstall and reinstall FC24. This fixed the issue entirely. The reason this is concerning is that the mod was working partially, and there was no obvious reason for it happening, but it definitely was. I have the luxury of knowing this as I built the mod and had two PCs to compare it against. Moral of the story - if you're noticing something that doesn't seem right, or you feel the mod isn't working properly etc, then it might be a good idea to reinstall the game entirely, re-load all of your mods in a fresh mod manager and start from scratch. It might even be a good idea to do this from time to time.

Hey there! Thank you for your amazing mod! Im loving it so far. I just have a question regarding the defensive line of the cpu. Its really low causing so much space for my strikers. Last game i played final score was 5-4 and that was with 2 of my players sent off. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks a lot. Other than the high scoring and the defensive line i love everything about it

Hey Jiro, glad you're enjoying it man! I would strongly suggest you try playing with one of the 'attacking adjustment' options. This will solidify your midfielders more and have them making less runs forward - which should in turn reduce how open the game is. Regarding defensive line height - there's actually been no change at all in this regard. What has changed however, is the fact that the defenders now have more control over their line. Before the change, attacking runs would just push back the defensive line. So the reason the line would drop so far back was purely due to the fact that attacking runs would force them to do so. It was leading to a lot of issues, so I've corrected this. The line height itself has many layers due to the way off-ball team movement is programmed, but I am looking into this area a little more, as on occasion it can be too easy to get in behind. Give that attacking adjustment option (either 1 or 2) a run and hopefully that will help the scorelines :)

Hi Anth, Was wondering if you would be able to look at shooting. The aftertouch or curve is way to heavy and I always find it unrealistic when you shoot across the goal with inside of foot and it curls back the other way if that makes sense, which is totally unrealistic. Have you seen this and do you agree? I like and am happy with curve or curl the right way when hitting a shot with inside of foot. Not sure if this makes sense. Cheers.
