Friday Rambles 9/9/2022 (Patreon)

Another week, another late rambles.

A heat wave swept through my state this week. We got through it pretty fine, considering, but I woke up a lot during the night because it was too hot and we couldn't do anything outside. Also felt too lazy to do anything. Now it's nice and breezy and cool outside, so I'm going to enjoy that.

I've taken an interest in physical newsletters and zines lately. I've been gathering materials to start making a monthly physical publication. I'm planning on it being Endless Monday themed, with exclusive drawings, sketches, and character bios, and maybe another half with various art related stuff (essays, tips, interviews with artist friends, etc), as well as some miscellany like burger shop reviews. Would you be interested in this kind of thing? What kind of stuff would you like seeing in it? If I do this, I'll probably announce a new tier for monthly publication supporters and send a new zine out every month as a physical reward (as well as digital for people who prefer that). I imagine it'll be pretty rough the first few issues, so maybe I'll just do it for fun and free for the time being but I figure over time it'll be good for improving my design/writing/review/interview skills lol

Yesterday was 9/9, and I didn't have anything to post for Cirno Day! To buy time I retweeted my old Cirno posts and then got the idea to bundle my unsold Cirno stickers and prints with every order of $9+ and had like my best single day for shop sales ever lol. I guess I should market my shop and have little events like this more often (even though I always hate posting self promotion stuff on twitter... idk). So anyway, now I will be spending all weekend packing orders.

I thought up and drew my Cirno Day post in a few hours in a weird delirious trance and made it on time (US time anyway). 

Seriously though. How is it already September. Where the hell did August go.

I forget what else I did this week. I think the heat made my brain stupid.
