Friday Rambles 8/26/2022 (Patreon)

i can't believe it's already friday.

on monday I recovered from my trip, and on Tuesday/Wednesday I played Civ VI all day. also went to costco and the mall. Thursday I finally jogged again and sat down and (gasp) started coding for fun. is nature healing? then today I got the thing into a state where I can actually use it for myself, which was really cool and rewarding, and then I finally drew some stuff after a week+ of not even looking at my drawing pen.

then i drew this after being so fed up with all my drawings looking like crap that I figured i'd try something different and slap some blobs of paint down instead of starting with sketches and see what came out. anyway i don't hate it and i think it salvaged my night. maybe i should keep just trying what seems to be more enjoyable for me.

i posted grey skye on twitter and forgot to do some gradient mapping so it wasn't so damn grey and now everyone is posting RIP. she's not dead guys. i brought it on myself though
