hanfu illo reveal ♡ + patreon news! (Patreon)

Hihi Patrons! Just wanted to update you with this finished hanfu illustration of my oc Bunmii before we ring in the new year! This piece will be made into a character card as one of the extra merch rewards for the Year of the Rabbit zine project.

Also as a heads up, I'll be pausing Patreon in Jan to work on December rewards, shop update, and more. I was hoping to get a lot more done this week but honestly, this illustration took a lot more out of me than expected :-') Might stream on Twitch this weekend while working on the December rewards! My manu also just shipped out the November stickers and they'll be arriving Tuesday, so I'll be shipping those rewards out next week~ 

Thank you all so much for your patience, love, and support!! I really could not have accomplished all that I've done this year without your encouragement, and I appreciate you all so much. Every single Patron has helped me work toward my dreams and support my kitties, and I truly don't take any of it for granted. It's definitely been a year of ups and downs and honestly, lots of burnout but somehow, we still managed to do so much!! 

some cool highlights from 2022 ♡

• started twitch streaming + designed my very own pngtuber, layout, emojis etc! 
• launched digital icon pack store (and eventually one w handy app!) 
• launched new baomii shop with branded merch! finally made a secret shop!
• tried new product designs: memo pads, cardholders, phone grips, charms, + photocards! 
• entered the wholesale market and established connections with a couple of amazing stationery shops! ;___;
• did a stickii club collab!
• designed 3 whole plushies and successfully funded 1!! (dumbii coming 2023)
• traveled to korea for the first time~
• watched my brother get married T___T
• did my first artist mutual collab w komomorebi <3
• tabled at two events! AX chibi (my first overnight stay con) + em cosmetics holiday popup
• returned to disney tv fulltime and got my first taste of the in-studio experience~
• went to a music fest and saw seventeen (kpop)!
• completed my first merch design role w year of the rabbit zine project
• 3D printed one of my lucky cat designs! (all thanks to my partner)

In 2023, I'm looking forward to continuing to try new things, but also taking A LOT more time to rest and live slowly. I think I'd rather create with more intention - quality over quantity. Although I always try to go for quality anyway, I'd like to give myself much more realistic goals and expectations than trying to do too much. Something new I'd really love to learn would be metal casting jewelry, ceramics, or 3D! I'm also looking forward to learning how to paint 3D printed pieces and design vinyl toys with my partner ^__^ What are your new year's resolutions?
