♡ october patreon rewards wip, aug/sept check in + zine sketches! (Patreon)

Hihi Patrons!! Unfortunately, I got really sick the past week (thankfully was just the flu and am now almost fully recovered) but I wanted to share some pieces I've been working on!

I kept this month's theme simple but spooky cute~ black cats + strawberry things! Excited to knock this one out quickly :3 The cat was inspired by my calico Kiki - she has a ton of cattitude hahaha! If I hadn't adopted Kojin (my orange cat) tbh I would've loved to have a black cat!! I even have a small Jiji plush collection at home thanks to my love for Kiki's Delivery Service. Maybe in the future, I'll have a black cat someday?

The illustration for Aug/Sept really had me in a weird art block funk, but I'm almost at the end AHH! I still have about 10-15% to go~ The whole process for this was a journey and it made me really think about all the things I want to work on with my art in the future. I still have so much to learn in designing backgrounds, understanding perspective, anatomy, etc!! T____T

I also wanted to share some zine sketches~ I'm working on merch design for the Year of Rabbit zine which is LNY-themed! As you all know, I loooove bunnies so super excited to be a part of this project! The following pieces will be made into a card design and puffy sticker sheet.

This week I also caught up on shop orders, finished remaining wholesale orders, and concluded my Alibaba dispute (I got a partial refund ;-; it was somewhat worth the trouble but also wish I'd gotten the quality merch I expected). I've also been working on prepping charms and counting inventory for next Saturday's shop update! 

There's still a lot to do, but that's everything for now! Chat again soon!!
