holo heart card! (Patreon)

Hihi Patrons!! Here is a look at the holo heart photo card for July~ front + back! I've been a bit burnt out from drawing lately but really happy with how this turned out! I've always wanted to draw a cute girl in a plushie shopping cart~ * w * I'm excited to see how this looks printed + shiny~~~! ♡♡♡

Lately, I've been really into vintage Japanese brands - particularly retro cute ones like Angel Blue + Hysteric Glamour. Both brands combine mascot characters and graphic design in a really cool way, which is something I've always wanted to explore more in my art. I even recently bought an Angel Blue jacket that inspired the one in this illustration! 

I also wanted to share some additional sketches of my process: pose ref, cleaner sketch, and rough color block. I borrowed the poseable figure from my partner Max and it was so helpful~ I should really try using this doll more in the future.

In other news, the July sticker sheet will be shared later next week as well as the sketch for August rewards! I'm so thrilled this week is almost over haha. I hope everyone gets lots of resting and relaxation this weekend~
