Happy New Year everyone!! I can't believe it's 2022?! 

I wanted to share the BTS for bunmii girl since it was truly a journey to get to the finished piece. After posting the first version, my partner gave me feedback and I realized I needed to correct a lot of anatomy and perspective issues T___T

He reminded me not to rush and take things more slowly with art, especially since that’s been the goal of me taking a break from full-time work right now. So… I took the time to redo a lot of what I’d drawn and wanted to share the process! I can’t believe I redrew the front foot three times… 😭

I’m really happy where this illustration ended up and I’m looking forward to working more on poses and anatomy in my art for this year!

A simple goal but a difficult thing to learn haha 😹Asides from art goals, I'd like to take things slow, take more breaks, and take time to enjoy life with the people I love. It's easy to get caught up with prioritizing work right now especially when a lot of us are cooped up indoors. After playing some online Monopoly with friends yesterday, I was really reminded how much socializing is an important aspect of happiness. I haven't been as present with my friends and family lately and I'd like to focus more on keeping in touch in 2022.
