Fleur Sauvage design process~ (Patreon)

To bookend this month's Bae Wulf themed content, I figure it might be an opportunity to highlight her rougarou rival, the elegant, arrogant, and deadly alpha adversary, the wolf's bane, Fleur Sauvage!

Initially something of a side-note back-story werewolf-like rival to counter Bae Wulf, her design was actually a bit underdeveloped and not all that interesting. (The initial sketches past the first post here)

But while hanging out with Colo and some friends after AX and drawing, Colo's drawings of the character were infinitely more appealing looking. It was a real opening of the mind's eye aha. Really, literally inspiring.

After that, I took the character a bit more seriously and worked from that direction to develop her further / practice her a bit more. There are some pictures here of Zenko the kitsune as well, to compare and contrast to make sure they were different enough, and hopefully Zenko can also maintain some sort of similar appeal, but also not overlap.

Now she'll be a formidable, probably more prominent adversary to Bae Wulf and a key part of not only her backstory, but present events too, I'm sure.

Either way, it was an interesting path for the character's development, and I figured it might be an interesting tidbit to share~
