TC, Wow thanks for explaining narative arc... I had no idea this is how stories worked! I was just trying to do something called 'Making a Joke' maybe you could read up on it and then we'd both learn something! :-) https://www.masterclass.com/articles/how-to-write-a-joke-in-7-easy-steps Seriously though, I used that line to throw myself at an older man many years ago and it worked surprisingly well. (good lord, he must have been 30! Out of college, good job, nice car, athletic.... he even knew a bit about wine! I learned so much that summer.) But, just to be clear, I wasn't going around throwing myself at random strangers. I waited patiently and took very careful aim before I pulled that trigger. Please don't assume that just because I have a bawdy streak I don't appreciate the story line and all the effort Gaikotsu has put into this. After all, there is no law that says you are not allowed to be chivalrous, romantic, even monogamous and freaky at the same time.... :-)

Oh no, I'm only here for the articles.... (yeah, right. :-) But honestly, this is the wrong place for that. If people get impatient they can always go read Zourik, Meesh or RedRusker... though the first two have been known to occasionally sneak a nice romantic story line into their work, while the drooling fappers aren't looking.
