End of Chapter 4! This chapter turned out completely different from what I had planned.. In fact the first page of Chapter 5 is going to be the page that I had originally sketched to be the first page of Chapter 4. So, if you didn't like Chapter 4, you can just skip directly from 3 to 5 in the future.. xD

I hate this. Why is it so hard for people to communicate and not jump to conclusions?

Because everyone knows only one part and has to guess the rest. Imagine a treasure map torn into three parts. Part 1 has Airam. Part 2 has Tauski. Each wants the same thing, to find the treasure. But both can only guess in which direction the other will go. And so they move away. Sometimes it is less painful than the fear of being hurt again.

Exactly.. Airam is pretty certain Tauski doesn't have any feelings for him as he said so before. And Tauski.. well, he's really shy and this is all new to him. :')

yes, it will be too late tomorrow. we know this will spark a fire under his butt and he will do it now because he is a good boy and he is in love 🥰

I would say that "guessing the rest" is the biggest problem. People naturally want to fill in the blanks, so they can pretend they are in control of or at least understand the situation. But it gets in the way of actual communications so you end up with complete misunderstandings like this one. When you are in a real relationship neither person is in control. They two of you are just making it up as you go along. Listening to and responding to each other. You have to be willing to make a fool out of yourself by saying things that are uncomfortably earnest and direct, and just hoping they work out. Then shut up and *listen* to the answers. Even if its not what you hoped for, accept it and see if there is something you can work with. I've never met anyone who didn't like being listened to.
