The game Shrewsies is inspired by a Finnish village called "Väätäiskylä" which almost sounds like "Shrew village" with a twist. I've never seen any people when I've driven past the village, so I like to imagine the inhabitants are small shrew like creatures. :D Tauski also has the game (and its expansion) and a small Shrewsie figurine on his shelf, so you might have seen them before in previous pages!
