Granny Dog (personal art) (Patreon)

My bf turned 30 today and he's been asking me to paint our 11-year-old rescue girl as a grandma, sitting by the window and being angry at cats. His birthday was the perfect motivation for me to get it finally done so he can hang it in his office at work. :P

This is a true story too, we live in the countryside and our neighbour has 7 cats who always invade our yard. The orange one I painted here is the biggest and most annoying one of them all, at least in our dog's opinion. Grr!

I haven't painted with watercolours in ages, and I had very limited tools because I had already packed all my traditional art tools in moving boxes, so I just used what I could find easily. It was fun nonetheless! :3 (sorry for the bad scan!)
