Chapter 8 is finally out.

Edit note: I created a small help document. It has save files for every chapter in the game: [Help]

Hello everyone.
First of all, I'm sorry for the delay on the release, but it is finally here.
The main enhancement I added is that now you can cancel an errand.
Talk again with Clarence or Greg, and they will offer you the option to drop the current errand. You won't get paid, and it won't count towards the finished errands, but for people that want to meet certain characters, it will prevent them from having to go back and forth until they randomly show up.
I also added the chapter information in the save files.
This is new information, so older saves will show a number 0 instead, but other than that they should be fine.

Just a reminder that there is a Discord chat (Patreon will invite you automatically if you pair your account, you can DM me if it's not happening) and a Telegram chat (less active but you are always welcome to join): https://t.me/joinchat/FBFnCiXf4noPqWll

The Guide is updated for the newest release, including the walkthrough.

This post here explains how to export and import save files. Please be careful when using this, since you can lose save files if you are not careful.
That post also explains how to transfer an older save file from the itch.io version of the game. (This cannot be done backwards, since itch.io is usually one or two chapters behind).

Some help with the controls: Controls:

The game can be played with:

Keyboard:

Use arrows to move and enter to interact.  Escape will open the menu and cancel. Alternatively, Z can be used for interactions and X for opening the menu and cancelling.

Mouse:

Click where you want the character to go or what you want to interact with. Use the other mouse button to open the menu and for cancelling.   Note: Menus are enhanced for keyboard, so clicking an option will highlight first.  If the option is highlighted, clicking it will select it.

Gamepad:

The game should support a gamepad in Chrome browser at least.    The A button will interact and accept.  The Y button will open the menu.   The B button will cancel.

For mobile:

Just touch where you want the character to go and what you want to interact with. Important: Touch with TWO fingers to open the menu and cancel.

Notes: Touching a menu item will highlight it.  If the item is already highlighted, touching it again will select it. You might also want to set the phone in landscape mode and go to the games options and pick fullscreen.

Thank you all for your support, even when updates are a bit sparse.
My day job has gotten quite hectic and stressful in the last few months, and that made updating this game a bit more difficult.
Part of the reason ManCandy exists is that I usually doodle to relax, so I thought I would draw to help me relax and use the art for that game.

Tons of hugs, CæsarCub.

Amazing update!!! Also: is the " 2 fingers" in bold and cap letters something suggestive? 😏 lol

I'm sorry to hear that. You can always use the tool explained in this post to backup your saves in the future: https://www.patreon.com/posts/magical-battler-45489840

I cant find the guy at the gym mentioned by frank and in addition to that I cant find the lilac used underwear either

caesarcub

Frank is asking for Kevin (he is at the gym during the night near the punching bags). The lilac underwear is sold by Zane (during the day at the boiler room in the dorms in the campus). You need to have at least 3 stars of friendship with Zane for him to sell you stuff.

Hello! I was wondering if there was a small bug in the game cause I can’t see to introduce Theo(?), the guy behind the desk at the gym, to Levi. Even though I’m SURE he’s the guy with the pink shirt and glasses Theo is talking about.

Hi. Sorry for the trouble. That content is not in the game yet. I thought it would be cool to have some characters hint or tell you stuff that might happen later, but I didn't consider it would have people looking for it before the content was actually there. Sorry for the inconvenience.
