The interesting request for my patron Souvillaine.

I was asked about White's hobbies, how he "lives" until he kills people in the dark alleys of the city, and then I thought. Indeed, what hobbies does he have?

It was hard for me to imagine how White, for example, feeds the birds, walks by the lake or plays video games. In principle, he doesn't have a such functions as "rest" and "entertainment". He just wasn't taught it. He was limited in his free movement, he was constantly monitored, he wasn't allowed to openly contact with other nirsh'ari, and his real identity was hidden behind masks. When he was alone, he could only sing, as most nirsh'ari do anyway, listen to others sing, and dance, pouring out his inner storm of emotions and loneliness. In fact, complete isolation from a huge percentage of society (not counting the highest caste, who has no an adequate perception of peace and justice) has created the one single and main thought in White  - enemies are everywhere. His whole meaning of life - it's endless attempts to gain approval from his matriarch and he was ready for her for everything, including murder. White was an indispensable source of information and an ideal manipulator, but his hyperfixation on one particular person played with him in a cruel joke - when matriarch suddenly decided to get rid of him, White became truly dangerous and uncontrollable.

So White now has a quite specific entertainments, which include torturing and enjoying someone else's agony. The most harmless hobbies were music, dancing and singing in splendid isolation, as well drinking of honey whiskey - a pleasant bonus by the society of human beings.

P.S. When I created the first image of White I was listening the song Nothing But Thieves - Honey Whiskey and I decided to keep this little reference. This particular work was inspired by the song Coldplay - Adventure Of A Lifetime.
