How is everyone doing? Getting cozy for the holidays? Well, if you're not, get cozy, because here is this week's update!

As I remarked in an update about two weeks ago, I decided to add in a couple of short interactions with key characters before they are properly introduced. Like the ones with Jessica, these are missable, but there is nothing specifically tied to watching these short scenes, so don't worry about finding them all during your playthrough. They're just cool little Easter eggs that flesh out the world of Crimson Veil better.

The art has been finalized for this update. The picture gallery has now reached 100 collectible images! That's a major mile stone! Now it's all about constructing the events of the Tragic Bride Quest. I wrote the outline of the dialogue this week while enjoying some coffee (it was good btw). It has some differences from the submitted idea, but I think you will enjoy this adaptation of the story.

There's also a new art preview available to my $5 and up patrons after this post goes live, so check it out if you're interested in spicy spoilers. Here is a teaser for you all:

Finally, as this update starts to wrap up, we are getting closer to the actual release. While I would love to have it out by the end of the year, I have a lot of holiday obligations to attend and so I think I'm going to have to push this update out to patrons in early January. I'd rather not deal with Holiday/Family and Patreon stress lol. I hope you all understand.

As always, thanks for sticking by and continuing to support the game! Until next time, everyone!

Can’t wait. Will this require new saves?

MKRUdesign

As always, yes. Fortunately, the included saves and dev room are there to lessen the pain.

Speaking of holidays, I can't help but wonder if there'd be an Xmas related mission, even if mini one. Although a few possible "bad ends" involve her becoming a Xmas themed vampire (example a vampire Santa makes her his/her new "ms claus"), a deer woman, a krampus, or something else.

Too short notice I think. But maybe I can cook up something festive in time for the holiday.
