Been debating the backstory for this character for a while now. Originally when I first thought him up there was no backstory. His story sort of began once he ran into his human companion. 

But, I've been considering making it to where he was working and living as a gate guard. Which is why I did this picture up. 

I didn't save many WIPs of this img, but here is the sketch with some color laid down & me beginning to workout the armor.
