This card is asking us to reflect on those things and sort through what we want to keep and what we need to leave behind. You don't have to worry about the things your mom worried about. You don't have to be as hard on yourself as your dad was. But what about your mom's strength? Your dad's perseverance? Keep the gifts you want - return the rest.

RECCOMENDATIONS

I'm currently reading Real Sorcery: Strategies For Powerful Magick by Jason Miller, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to step up their magickal game! I wouldn't say it's super beginner, but great for people who have already established some sort of practice and want to dive in a bit more. He does a great job explaining magick in practical real-world ways.
