(R18) Patron request - RBS Flayn (Patreon)

Story time, yall!

Ok so, there was a random person on twitter that decided to try and start something (as random twitter people do)

essentially they called Flayn a child, being “Coded at 17 in-game” and being “mentally and physically a child”

This...rubs me the wrong way for various reasons...
First, Flayn is actually an adult and (spoilers but are they at this point?) she’s a dragon. Shes essentially an ancient granny by our standards, a young adult by her species’ and capable of blending in as a youth in a school (this is what “coded to be 17“ means - she is acting as a 17-year-old in the game and taking advantage of her physical form to blend in with the students to make friends and get out a little)

Again, in spite of that she gets treated as a child by quite a few people, in-game and irl. This is in fact her entire character arc. In spite of her wisdom and age she is sheltered and treated like the child she is not and it genuinely bothers me that no one seems to understands this.
In game, even those who think she is a child greatly respect her capability and the mystery of her power. Heck, no one of inappropriate age for dating a “17-year-old” have any form of romantic advance on her until after her origin is revealed. (If anything, she hits on Byleth, knowing herself to be an appropriate age to do so)

She constantly proves shes intelligent and has grown into a fine “young” woman to her friends and family and shows that her physical appearance, though a hindrance, does not define her.

Now, admittedly i wouldn’t write essays on something like this if it was just negligence.. This is an issue that affects adult women in real life, including people I know. Just because they dont have the right body type or their face is to chubby-cheeked, people will treat ladies who are fully adult (and sometimes even married with children of their own) as a child and insult or harass them and the people they love / are in relationships with. 

how does this tie into what I drew? Well, one of my patrons was aware of what happened and the general mistreatment of Flay’s character and requested fish girl lewds bc they can. LOL

Heavy-handed way to send a message? Yup. Did it get your attention tho? If you’re reading this, then yes.

...I understand that when you come to patreon you prooobably are looking for some chiseled abs and hourglass figures but remember that women (and men!) come in all shapes and sizes! If someone doesnt fit society’s mold in some way they already have life rough and judgment thrown at them. Be sure to spread some love and let the people in your life and yourself know -  you’re all beautiful! ❤️

And disclaimer, its still bad to do the thing i wont mention on patreon bc they prob monitor keywords bc children and small adults are VERY different. I’m only endorsing love for people *of age*,  regardless of if you fit what people expect you to look like or not.
