Various WIPs for Zim's Expression Sheet #5 (Patreon)

This post goes a little more in-depth into my process!

#1 - The approved sketch!

#2 - Mask (without a layer mask applied yet).

#3 - Mask (with layer mask applied and BG added).

#4 - Mask turned white with color references added. I add two so I don't have to grab the canvas and move around to see one on the other side of the canvas.

#5 - Part way through coloring.

#6 - A look into my Telegram sticker converting document, as I'm in the middle of converting the tired sticker! The three horizontal lines are guidelines I added to split the document into fifths to help keep things centered. A 50% grey BG is turned on to make sure the edges of the layer effects don't get clipped by accident. All stickers are made into Smart Objects before I resize them to make sure they don't lose detail in the process, and so I can make edits in the process while need be. The layer masks are used to clean up any consistencies on the edges, usually left over during the inking process. Sometimes small white dots can appear for this reason, which the layer mask clears up!
