some new characters 🐯 + updates (for real this time) (Patreon)

I belatedly realized I never actually included any updates in my last post, lol. My mental health has been inconsistent which is partially responsible for the infrequent updates lately. Anyway, here's some actual updates, for real this time:

Firstly, I wanted to introduce some new characters that I've been developing with my partner! They're for a small dnd campaign in a jungle setting. The tiger is a were-tiger character named Lesco (they/she) and the smaller cat is a tabaxi named Robin (they/them) I will probably draw them fucking at some point so I figured I'd share them here :)

Other than that, I've been settling into a new apartment with my partner which is generally helping my creative drive. It's fun co-creating stories and getting feedback with someone.

As for other creative projects, currently I'm also still developing a reboot of Denni and Loup's main story, Protostar.

Certain other projects have still kind of been shelved, primarily animation related projects. At the moment I still don't know when or if the drive to animate will return. Werewolf strap 2 is essentially back on the backburner-- but similar themes will probably get explored thru less intensive mediums than animation

I haven't been very active on twitter still, partially because every new twitter update makes me dislike using it for art a little bit more, lol. I'll try to make some sort of official update post on twitter at some point soon though, since I should probably communicate better that I primarily post on Patreon these days and maybe try to actually... advertise said Patreon, lol. I'm not always the best at communicating which is why I drop off the radar from time to time.

On the less art-related end of things, I did some research/correspondence with Patreon support and it turns out I can't actually switch to per-creation billing like I was considering! Apparently it's just not an option unless you pick it from the get-go when you're setting your page up. So there won't be much change in terms of billing, it'll still be a one-time monthly charge.

One small change: I did switch the billing system to the newer 'subscription' style, which means newer patrons who sign up going forward will get charged again on the day they signed up, the following month. Older prior patrons that already get billed on the 1st will still get billed on the 1st. Here's a link to the patreon faq page that explains it better -- I thought the concept does make some sense so that's why I decided to switch it.
