After a discussion in the support discord, I wanted to make a poll.

The question is:  Do you prefer shorter or longer projects?

I enjoy doing work with a bit more of a story because I find it more interesting, and I think it enhances the work.  I've found a middle ground by doing the 2koma-style images like the Orihime piece ( https://www.patreon.com/posts/orihimes-hq-63233598 ), but even these can be a bit limiting.  However they're quicker to produce.

However, I really enjoyed the Lucoa comic ( https://www.patreon.com/posts/lucoas-big-beer-59455285 ) because I had a bit more freedom to set it up, offer more saucy drawings of the character, and I'd have more opportunity for an even longer payoff.  That comic was intended to have more action at the end, but I had to cut it short because the deadline came into play.  I think it works, but it wasn't ideal, and to even get those 3 pages completed was a huge struggle.  Even so, this work is the most rewarding to me on a personal level.  I've tried to test approaches with some of the past projects and I just can't get around the production time no matter what I try (while keeping the quality high) and those projects end up getting put on the backburner or abandoned as a result.  Something like this or more would take 2+ billing cycles to complete.

So I pass it to the patrons.  Which do you prefer.

Feel free to comment with any kind of nuanced thought that you have on the subject.
