Happy Holidays + Money Cheat Results + more! (Patreon)

Hello there,

This will be our last post of the year as we will take some time off over the next two weeks to come back fresh and ready for the new year! We will be back to our regular weekly post schedule right after that.

Breakdown of the year

So much happened in the last year and it's been incredibly exciting and intense to work on this game with the support from everyone here on Patreon and in the community! If 2019 was the year of the build mode, 2020 was the year of the Parafolks! We started to work on them in January and we revealed Maggie and Sebastian, our first Paras, during the year. We've been hard at work on Paramaker features as well as improving the build mode. 2021 will be the year of the simulation mode and more gameplay elements!

One year ago, we were only 3 on the team and now we're 7! Thanks to the generous contribution from everyone on Patreon, the team has grown and we'll be able to recruit 3 more members soon (we are still actively looking for the best candidates). Also, Sonia just finished her two months internship and we are very happy to welcome her in the team as a full-time 3D artist!

The year 2020 in numbers:
- 5 590 more Patrons (from 3185 to 8775 in a year). We are so grateful!
- 2 900 private messages and emails received (replied to by Christine)
- 1 500 000 messages sent by everyone on Discord
- 29 weekly developer chat sessions on Discord
- 70 000 total hours watched for our Youtube videos
- 17 257 answers to our 3 community surveys
- 100% of our Patrons and community are awesome
- 100% awesomeness level reached by our Discord moderators
- 50 000 members reached on Discord
- 100 000 followers reached on Twitter
- 200 000 subscribers reached on Youtube
- 33 cat pictures shared by Jérémie on our Slack

Money Cheat Winner

Thank you for voting in the money cheat poll last week! In addition to the PayDay and Lottery cheats which were already confirmed in that post, here are the final winners that will be added officially to the game:

- Jackpot: Gain a huge amount of money
- MakeItRain: Gain a big amount of money
- PiggyBank: Gain a small amount of money
- PrintMoney X: gain X Paradimes

MakeItRain was the winner but we decided to add more cheats! The final amount that these cheats will grant will be decided later as we tweak the economy of the game.

Wishes from the team

What a year this has been! The team and I would like to wish you happy holidays and we hope that you will be able to relax and cool down. Here's a few words from everyone on the team:
