Loadouts like this were frequently seen in Syria and other troubled locations frequented by elite Russian units. So how does it compare to top tier Western rifles? Is the AK design really bad with accuracy? We find out. Spot on with the discussion about taking your firing hand off to charge the rifle. I once saw someone struggling immensely trying to load a Garand with his left hand because "Dominant hand maintains a firing grip at all times" was so engraved into his mind that it never occurred to him that the mechanics of a Garand won't allow that. Nor would he listen to and advice that contradicted what he perceived as gospel

not the sighting system I'd ever do but... civi advantage. I don't get issued stuff so... . as with ar's. wasn't an ak use to be like.. LIGHT carbine? damn that looks heavy, karl often use right hand to charge the rifle. I only own a 30carb and a 10/22 both wooden stock pistol grip with that position. I rarely go right hand but those both use shorter mags, of course. usually I do weave underneath. too used to that maybe.
