2P is here! (Patreon)

Last month I started a new cosplay, which has been kinda unexpected in many ways.

I somehow skipped all 2B hype and never considered making her. But I have to say that the design is stunning and I loved every single part of it. So when I received a request from a cosplay friend in Belgium, I was like: sure, let’s do the costume for a photoshoot together!

I didn’t know yet that I would have just 10 days for the whole piece, and that it’s gonna be one of the challenging designs that requires a lot of alterations as you make and add new pieces. I didn’t know yet how troublesome would be my props and how sad I would feel about things not working out. But I also didn’t know yet that this is gonna be one of my best sewing experiences this year❤️ And this last part changed everything!

My version of this character comes from latest Soul Calibur game, and it’s a nice reference to Nier game series . You can rather play as an original 2B there or as her reversed exclusive version named 2P. I found that 2P has almost no differences from her originally created sister, the only big change is that she has less embroidery and less decorative stitching on her outfit. She also is different from Bridal 2B who has fully white outfit.

I finished the costume right in the end of May and took pictures last Monday. Germany sometimes amuses me with brilliant locations, and this is clearly on of these cases! The rocks in pictures are real, and the send desert is looking pretty close to the original locations in the game.

Full 2P photoshoot is coming as an HD superhero tier this month, and I am very proud of this cosplay. Fully patterned, designed and created by me in only 10 days, and only two weeks were used to move from the idea and the references to the final photoshoot! Pretty impressive I have to say.
