is there a reason why none of the facial hair wants to stay on anymore :( I have to keep going back into cas to keep the facial hair on

It might have several reasons. Such as: 1 - You have some of the Core Mods like MC Command Center, Wicked Whims, etc. that somehow influence sims appearance. And it doesn't work correctly with other mods or even the game itself. 2 - You have High School Years Expansion Pack installed and in your settings there's an option for growing beard and shaving is on. And it doesn't work correctly because of the: 3 - Game Update that broke something again That's pretty it! I'll check my facial hairs though and see if I have the same issue, didn't notice it recently.
