Rendezvous in Paris (Patreon)

Back in July I went to Etretat, Normandie for a shooting trip with Irina Lozovaya (@airineel_2). As she has her home base close to Cologne we met in Paris to go by car to Etretat, a 2.5 hours trip.

I wanted to take the opportunity for a shooting in Paris and booked the shooting location shown on the pictures above.

In general it's difficult to find a good location for available light shootings. Sometimes it turns out that the location is way smaller or much less light than expected or there are other surprises, like the owner is living there and is staying in a separate room during the shooting. Especially the latter I always try to avoid, as the model may feel uncomfortable when a nude shooting is planned.

In this location, it turned out that there are more or less two sets available, one in the living room, the other in the kitchen. Fortunately the design of the two rooms match, so it's even possible to create a series by mixing pictures from both sets.

Unfortunately, the location owner insisted on keeping the windows closed and using the blinds while shooting topless or nude. It was a very hot summer day in July and we sweat a lot during the 3-hours-shoot. In spite of this, I think it was worth the effort!
