it's so interesting how marisol mentioned that Japanese pronunciation is much stronger!! because that's how all of my friends perceived the difference between Korean and Japanese versions. Linguistically and phonetically, Korean has a "smoother," more "flowing" rhythm to the language, so it's very favorable to listen to in songs (all the words blend in). Hence, k-ballads and k-pop, and k-rnb are highly popular within (these genres rely heavily on flow and smooth transitions). Whereas, Japanese language is "sharper," less smooth, and much more "dynamic" in some sense, therefore j-rock and anime-style soundtracks with actions scenes are well-matched, and very popular in these niches.

Plus, No more dream performance was also korean version like Jump performance in the previous reaction. They are not only perform with Japanese version since it’s Japan concert. I heard that japanese army prefer original korean version more than japanese version. Because they also prefer them to sing with their native language. Maybe that’s why they also sing with original one in japan concert

Qotd: my favorite song it Let Go. It’s so beautiful song. I really wished they release Korean version but now I gave up lol… Japanese version songs are honestly just different language and usually original songs are better. But there’s some Japanese original songs and they are so good.
