Familia today is the last day Jinny’s Kitchen will be open in Bacalar. 😪 What a beautiful journey it has been, just a week ago Jinny’s Kitchen was struggling for customers; now there's a line outside the restaurant. 👏👏

Also, there's a big goal in mind for the last day $12,000 pesos!! 💸💸Will they be able to reach that with such a slow lunch??

Yes! So happy to see another reaction to Jinny's Kitchen. This show has been the highlight of each week since it began. I hope we get a season 2 with the same 5 cast members. Tae has such great chemistry with all of them. 💜

Hi fam, I may be wrong but I’m pretty sure that ingredient that looks like cheese in the gimbap might be fish cake or the fried tofu that Yumi previously just added rice to for them to snack on. Most likely fish cake tho. Also, not sure if anyone else mentioned but after episode 10 there is supposed to be an 11th episode that I thought I heard was just recently recorded to show behind the scenes commentary. Fingers crossed cause I don’t want Jinny’s Kitchen to end. 🥺

I’m usually late to watch shows that come out. I would watch the shows when it has been out for 4 years or so. It’s because I don’t usually watch TV or streaming services

QOTD: Yep I watched Squid Games. It was really good but probably only ranks in the middle of my fav k-drama rankings. I’m intrigued for Squid Games 2 though. Familia rewatching Jinny’s Kitchen with you was the highlight of my day today. It’s so fun to watch along with you. I’m really going to miss this show when it ends. I so hope that the extra ep they filmed recently (the special episode) is also uploaded on prime. It will air on tvn the next week. The customers today were so fun esp the couple as was the mini squid games. The baby was super cute… trust Tae to be able to make her smile straight away. Animals and kids seem to really be drawn to him. His pureness speaks for itself. The CEO also managed to make her smile. Lee Seo Jin is famously single. He had a high profile relationship with his co-star from one of his dramas quite a few years ago (more than 12/13 years ago) and they were a sweetheart couple in Korea but broke up. Since then he has been single. There were dating rumours with Yumi in k-media last year though as they were spotted watching a basketball game together, and many were low key rooting for them but who knows it’s just unsubstantiated gossip at this point and Yumi has been linked with other actors too. I loved Wooshik and Tae with their Spanish practicing. Tae worked super hard to learn even on the plane… his little duck notebook was too precious. Loved Seo Jin and Tae’s tiki-taka too with Tae’s ‘I’m an idol’ when he was coveting Yumi’s cute socks and Seo Jin was like ‘he’s still caring about fashion.’ The smile on his face whenever he watches Tae eat is so warm. I’m not gonna lie even though even though it’s most probably a joke and a skit my heart felt for Tae and his curiosity of the cash register and Seo Jin’s accusations. I also found it adorable that they were all watching Tae make his first hot dog like proud parents. You could see Tae’s hands trembling from nerves. Was so sweet that Yumi gave him the tip and told him to buy himself a coke at the airport later. She’s so lovely. I don’t know if you realised but Tae went back earlier than the rest of the cast later that same day after working so much and flew 20 hours straight to be in Korea in time for Jin’s leaving. That’s how tight his schedule was and why they kept joking with him that he wouldn’t be able to make his flight if they didn’t make 12,000 pesos. That’s also why Seo Joon was talking about them getting safely back to Korea. Also that 20 hours travel time not including Tae having to travel 5 hours by car just to get from Bacalar to the airport. No wonder he needed 3 IV’s when he got back… Tae really showcasing his loyalty. Hope everyone has recovered from Yoongi’s show last night. P.s don’t know if you saw but Tae, JK and the whole of the Wooga squad were there to support Seo Joon at the premier of his new film Dream. JK’s ‘Seo Joonie Hyung fighting’ went viral. Also the tuna Gimbap does have cheese in it, you were correct! Hope the thunder and lightning has passed you guys now and that you are safe and sound :)💜

It may be cheese. In intial episodes during prep Yumi cut a stack of cheese slices and then was separating them.

It has been so fun to re-watch this with you guys. It was definitely not a weekday. France vs England match was on 10 dec - Saturday. Episode 10 is goona be chaotic. Looking forward to it.
