Happy MAMA Day 2 familia! We wanted to slide by and thank you for your support, love, and engagement this month! 💜 None of it goes unnoticed. 🥰

We also wanted to share what we have to look forward to this week with our INDIGO-inspired calendar. 😉

This Friday we will be taking a small INDIGO interlude to share our first listen to RM's solo album dropping Dec.2 at 2 pm KST!! 🙌  

We will also be continuing our BTS Memories of 2021 Journey along with going through every Bangtan Bomb on Sundays! 

On Top of this, we also have Jhope performing tonight at MAMA 2022, Rm as an MC on a Variety Show, Jin's birthday, Taehyungs birthday, Sugas's new drinking show SUCHWITA, and other projects we have specially planned for you! 🎈

Hi! I have a geniune question. I was wondering why the rest of the members didn't participate in MAMA when they are nominated as a group? All of them are still home right? Jin hasn't enlisted yet, Tae is back from Paris and Joon is back from New York. JK is also home again. Then why didn't they participate for MAMA? I know all of them are doing their solo projects, but does that also mean they won't do stuff such as award shows that are group related? Or is this just how it works? Can anyone explain this to me? 🤔😅💜

they’re on hiatus and probably taking vacations. i would assume they’re also not trying to go to award shows before jin’s enlistment. also didn’t wanna take the spotlight from jhope maybe? it was a big night for him

I'm guessing RM probably couldn't go because he's 48 hours out from dropping his solo album and flying to Japan to attend an award show at this moment wasn't fesiable for him. As for the others? Not sure. Personal schedules maybe? Maybe because RM couldn't go, and it wouldn't be all seven, the others decided not to attend. I think if the award show was in South Korea things might have been different but alas, it wasn't.

Yaay, didn't see this!!! Really excited for this month!! So much happening, Indigo will be amazing can't wait to listen it and then listen to it again with you lol, also Jin and Taehyung's birthdays!! Yoongi drinking show, btw when will you finish Jin's Drunk Journey??? Excited for it too!! And excited for Namjoon MC, but I don't know If it's my type of show, seems like intelligent people show so not for me 😅 And MAMA!!! Saw your shorts on YouTube and can't wait to see your reaction to it, unfortunately couldn't catch your live!!

And talking about Indigo, Namjoon will participate in kinda like a podcast with Zach Sang where they'll listen to all the songs and he'll talk more about it, hope you can watch it too!!!!

Obviously I don't really know what their reasons were, but from what I do know, I don't think ANY idols enjoy attending award shows. As you probably know, they're loooong. They feel long even to me watching from my bed in my underwear in the comfort of my home. But they have to get up early to get all done up and do the show plus the red carpet before the show. Then they have to sit there for several hours in dresses and suits with cameras trained on them the entire time, so it's very much work for them and it's not really an opportunity for them to relax and hang out. So my best guess is... they just didn't want to. And at this stage in their career, they don't have to. I'm guessing Hobi chose to perform b/c he loves performing and had new songs to perform. I also think that this is part of what chapter 2 will look like for them - them caring less and less about awards and whatnot. This is what I think at least.
