Oh, and familia, TikTok is a Chinese app so it's very natural for it to have its own award even if it wasn't that popular overseas in 2018 as it is today!!! Also, MAMA is a very big award show, so it's very common to international artists to perform there and such!! In 2014 it had John legend, Taehyung was very excited for it too, there's a clip of him running to the bathroom and back so he wouldn't miss his performance lol, in 2016 it had Gallant and in 2019 was Dua Lipa i believe, and she even performed with Hwasa from Mamamoo!!! Jimmy Fallon even presented an award in 2019 i think

I became Army between Fake Love and Idol Comeback and I remember watching the MAMA 2018 livestream with barely any (live) subtitles and absolutely losing it when i saw the boys crying and reading about the disbandment thing :( armys were soooo emotional

Wow. I was so amazed by how that place turned into a literal BTS concert 😭🔥💜. I haven’t watched the full speech in a while and I teared up again. They’ve been through so much and never fail to show us the best of them💜

Wow I keep thinking of the members’ attendance at the year end award shows in SK. Like will it mean that they’ll be back to promoting music as a group if they perform at the shows? Or will they just perform and not be back? Or will they even attend at all? Cause they didn’t attend last year (of course for a reason)

Tough one this time familia. Their speeches at this awards gets me every time. They were so good at keeping the mask in place so ARMY didn’t see what they were going through. Beyond glad that they decided to keep going and how they continue to fill my heart with love and pride for all they do. 💜
