The perfect performance, behind the scenes, to end the year!!

The choreographies to Black Swan, ON, Dynamite, and Life Goes On were all do darn LEGENDARY!! 🔥🥲  It was really fun to see a glimpse of how hard BTS worked on it, the choreography's challenging moments, and at the end see the members kill it!! 👏👏

QOTD: I honestly prefer MMA. The performances that I love from the groups I stan are from MMA. I was so excited to see the behind the scenes of Jimin and Jk’s Black Swan dance intro. Even my dance class especially my dance teachers were excited😅We really loved this part. It was an exquisite performance by BTS, just breathtaking. They did amazing! We especially loved the lift. We couldn’t stop replaying that part. We noticed that they actually chose a pretty difficult lift. The lift, typically supporting dancers lift the other dancer to their hip, shoulder or to a locked arm position either above their head or below their hips. This gives them the most support. But JK is holding Jimin on his chest. That’s quite difficult. Also for this move people think only the lifter makes a huge effort, and some actually think that being lifted is kinda easy bc you just need to be/look beautiful. But it’s NOT! It’s very important for the person being lifted to be strong. As the lifted dancer(Jimin), he needs to hold all his muscles in one position, which is more difficult than u think, especially for me😅. He needs to keep himself incredibly strong, his muscles tense and core tight(which I think is pretty easy for Jimin cuz of his dancing background, and he’s very strong). If he’s limp, he could throw the lifter(JK) off balance or become a dead weight. And yet, Jimin still manages to look incredibly soft, graceful, and elegant, with a calm expression. One thing my teachers talked about is Jimin’s front leg. Most dancers in this type of lift tuck their front leg into a retiré position by the knee, which naturally faces downwards. But Jimin brings it up and keeps it SO flat and level, speaking once again to his incredible strength & turn out. My teachers were even impressed by how Jimin held his position like it was nothing and still looked so elegant, graceful, and beautiful. They always point out jimins dance lines. They’ve never seen such beautiful dance lines like Jimin’s. They LOVE his dance lines😌Overall, we love the chemistry JK and Jimin share as a duo on stage, it is undeniable. This dance it requires trust, strength, grace and above all teamwork.

i used to really love MAMA. but now i think MMA is a lot better. the stage production is amaaazing! and MAMA is just so wrong is so many aspects. they messed up a lot and never apologizes so MAMA nope. MAMA u done u done btw 2022 season greeting is out! hope u guys can watch it hehe. i know u guys will watch it, im just impatient and excited. sorry ahahhha

i loved this disc so much😭 it was a time where we all missed yoongi so much... the members stayed strong and did their best tho!! the performance of black swan will forever be legendary. and i admire how they can always goof around and have a good time while working but still be serious when they have to be, such professionals!!

I think this specific MAMA was several hours long and they kept teasing that the boys would perform “soon” (or something similar), and yoongi was on weverse just waiting with us asking when they’d be on LOL 😭 iirc the boys also napped in the cars in between award acceptances because they were THAT tired + the show was just THAT long

Hi Uthman and Marisol, one humble request. I noticed that you keep referring to back up dancers as “extras” - it would be so awesome if you could refer them to as dancers or back up dancers as it is a profession. For acts such as BTS backup dancers play an incredible role hence why at the end of concerts they get called on to the stage and acknowledged. This is in no way a criticism because I know you don’t have malicious intent, but a request so all these amazing people do get their due props and respect:)

Yeah, i though about that too, especially since this days i saw a tweet or something talking exactly about that, also in the captions were literally "dancers" i know that Uthman and Marisol intentions were not mean but let's respect the dancers profession too!!
