Today we are watching episode 7 of I-LAND! The beginning of part 2.

In the last episode, we found out 6 of the 12 members will move on to part 2. And today, we will find out who the final 6 are through global voting!!

Plus today we will be joined by some very special guests! Probably the best guests you could ask for in our opinion, and thats BTS! 💜🙌

QOTD: So two of the people eliminated, Nicholas and EJ, debuted in Hybe's Japanese group "&Team." Nicholas, despite not impressing me as much here (though he didn't get a ton of screen time, tbf), is my bias in &Team. He reminds me of Hobi. Great performer, street dancer, swaggy, and I like his rock-esque vocals. So just by seeing how strong he is in &Team, I would say he deserved to stay. He definitely had the potential. But also, I happen to like &Team better than Enhypen (no shade, I like them both, it's just a preference based on sound and style and concept), so I'm really glad that Nicholas didn't make it, here. I think he fits &Team better than Enhypen. Same with EJ (who is the Leader of &Team) and the other two I-Land-origin &Team members. I couldn't see them not in &Team. So it all worked out. I was really glad Hanbin made it, too! When I watched this through the first time, Jay, Sunoo, Daniel, and Hanbin were the kids I was most rooting for so I was really thrilled to see them all make it through to Part 2.

Also, Enhypen fans will correct me if I'm wrong but I know Taki is obviously ARMY (a Suga fan) and Jay is too. I remember Jay talking about buying their albums in stores growing up and he was showing his collection off (or something like that). I'm sure Engenes will add stuff but I know those two at least were ARMYs pre-I-Land.

Im not too sure about everyone but jungwon is the biggest jungkook bias you can get. I don't know when but when they were in iland they had to write a profile for themselves and one of the questions was who is your role model and he said jungkook.

Familia please i hope you'll watch &audition in the future. It also a survival show by hybe to make a new boygroup. You'll see EJ, Nicholas and 2 more trainees from iland there (i can't say their names bcs it will be spoiler). They're all improve so much. I think you'll enjoy &audition just like you enjoy watching iland. All of the trainees are also so talented just like iland! :)

wow I've watched your reaction video then and am finally getting to watch a new perspective of yours now that you know these trainees!! so excited to watch it..! will leave a comment after I finish watching familia!!!!! wow that was a great episode..! I remember freaking out knowing BTS would appear in this episode and honestly was expecting them to meet trainees but hopefully those trainees got their concerns answered by the BTS so that was amazing!!!! I really felt bad for Nicholas, EJ getting eliminated but then thankfully they got another chance apparently!!!

This was awesome. Thanks, familia! I just found out that there's I-Land Season 2 and I think that was like one or two years ago with Song Kang (one of my actor crushes who was the main lead in Sweet Home, one of my fave kdrama series ever) as the host. I was wondering if you'd also be interested in watching it. I haven't watched it so I don't know whether to recommend it or not but I am a little curious about it. They formed a girl group in that show but I know no other details whatsoever. I was just scrolling at variety shows on a streaming app and it was the number 1 variety show so I got surprised because I've never heard of it before.

Correct me if I’m wrong but Ni-ki is more known to be a fan of Shinee, as he danced with a member of shinee (key) when he was a kid during one of their Japan shows. I heard after I-land tho that he admires Jimin’s dance line a lot and has gotten recognition for covering lie. The most popular/known BTS army amongst the 12 were Jay and Taki. I watching somewhere, Jay personally bought BTS wings album and has been a fan of their music around that time. Taki as mentioned from the very beginning his role model was Yoongi 🥹😂. I think Sunoo, Sunghoon and Jake have also mentioned wanting to become an artist because of BTS ( mostly those who trained in Bighit it seems).

QOTD: EJ is now the leader of &TEAM and I've always rooted for him when he was in I-Land so it made me a little frustrated when he did not make it to part 2 but also, it made me feel relieved that he's getting the attention he deserves in &TEAM together with Nicholas and 2 others from I-Land

Jungwon is actually a Jungkook biased. He mentioned it in his profile in I-Land. Jay and Ta-ki are also army (the 1s album Jay bought is the Wings album and he would save money to buy other merch too like season's greetings! Ta-ki is Suga biased) Jake and Sunghoon both watched BTS perform and started to dream being an idol after.

Back to say one more thing. K and some of the others were clearly rattled by Sunoo and Daniel being at the top but I kind of get that. I love Sunoo and Daniel but they are objectively less skilled than a lot of the others (and Daniel’s only 13 here! Like 10 years younger than K!) I think it must have been unnerving for all of those confident, highly-skilled guys to realize that that skill wasn’t going to guarantee them a spot in the 7. It probably seemed unfair and scary knowing that they can’t rely on that and the game had slipped from their favor. So I tend to forgive the early resentment.

Jungwon is a big Jungkook biased. Everytime when he’s being asked about his role model he says that it’s Jungkook❤️

yeah i agree they are really there for competetion but they still tried their best to get along with the others and still are not getting the votes so its very human for them to feel that its really unfair

obviously they all admire bts a loot as artists and seniors but jay is a very huge army buying albums and attending concerts and jungwon has mentioned multiple times that jungkook is his role model and ta ki said in earlier episodes that suga is his role model

i think your able to see more of a energetic niki here because he's free from the burden of being in ground and have to take on so many responsibilities hes finally in i land and i think that made him stop being on guard a loot

i am HERE for the jungwon praise! so happy to see u guys recognizing jungwon’s talent! i feel like he can sometimes get overlooked bc his personality isn’t over-the-top and he tends to be more quiet compared to the others. not only is his singing and dancing top tier, but i feel like he’s shown great morals and his maturity (even at such a young age!)

They watched the HYBE Game Caterers episodes so they think they recognize some faces from that. I don't think they're 100% on anyone but they have some idea. Like "I think that guy is really familiar. I think he's one of them," kind-of-thing.

While watching it I was so glad you guys were rooting for Hanbin! He was on my list of favorites from the beginning. I used to watch dance covers so in the very first episode when he showed up I was like "Oh, I know him!". It was so sad to see how much that first elimination made him lose confidence in himself, cause he's so good!
