.....................................................................................................................................................

Clickbait title, I am not actually quitting.
The actual title is "Changes".
There are two main changes I'll have to make:

FIRST

I've been thinking about this for a long time.
I am going to stop making only fighting games stuff.
I am very grateful that you guys sympathize and support my love of fighting games, but when I look at other creators that just do whatever I get sad.
There is just not enough interest in fighting game stuff I guess or maybe I got into making lewds too late or something, I dunno.

But I do love fighting games a lot, so I am thinking of doing stuff on a cycle of
FightingGame - NonFightingGame - Repeat

DOA characters will count both as a FightingGame and NonFightingGame. So I guess techically I was already doing it since Leona.

I am not just going to do everything for NonFightingGames, I have my preferences, it will be mostly non-western characters, like you will never see me do The Witcher 3 characters for example. I don't know if I'll be doing overwatch, I dislike current blizzard and their games, but I do realize the power of ow chars in the lewd market.

SECOND

This is about animations, blender has 2 render engines by default: Cycles and Eevee.
If you recall the animation update posts, I've been calling eevee as low-graphics.
It's actually not true, with the right settings you can make eevee look good, it's just less realistic looking.

All this time I was using cycles for animations, the render times are very long.
So, I've been holding myself back from doing longer animations. And I really want to do them, you just can't make really interesting stuff if you don't have many frames to work with.
Also the scenes can't be very complex, again because of render times, like I can't really do real indoors scenes, it will take too long.

Eevee render times are very fast, they are faster than sfm in fact.
So, I am going to have to switch to eevee for animations, atleast until I save up for a PC upgrade.
I really want to make longer and more complex animations and eevee will allow me to do that. I'll be able to do more variations and camera angles too.

So for animations I will be using eevee and for pin-ups/pictures I will still be using cycles.

Two things convinced me to switch:

First is I found a lot of great props and scenes that I can't really use for animations in cycles, the render times will get really long, I guess I could be like other guys that just make 1 animation per month, but my conscience will not allow me to do that to you guys. And it's also very boring to just do 1 thing for a month. Also very scary for my old ass gtx 970 to render for weeks, if it dies I won't be able to make animations at all.
Second is I looked at other creators that do actually use eevee for animations and their stuff still looks good and people don't really care that it's eevee and not cycles.

Taki's animation was made in eevee render engine actually, that's why it's longer than usual and has 2 variants. It doesn't look that bad right?

I will completely understand if you decide to stop supporting me because of this, but it's the only way for me to keep going.

I'll also make a public version of this post later, it will be a little different, but pay no attention to it.
