Rouge's stomach gurgled and sloshed with copious amounts of funnel cake and milkshakes, lively and active even as she sat overflowing on the park bench.  If you'd told her a month ago that she'd gorge herself so thoroughly that her weight more than tripled in thirty days' time, she would've never believed you.

It's crazy how strong a motivator greed can be, though.  How quickly greed can turn to gluttony.

A single day of free food ---  that was her goal on the first day.  It wasn't stealing per-say, but for that food to come at no cost somebody was getting stolen from.  The thrill of the act could be found, in a way that didn't get that damned goody two-shoes on her case.

But, when that day was stretched into a month, she never thought to course-correct from her mindset for one day.  A single day of over-the-top binging that left her in a food coma the moment she got home was fine.  The handful of pounds from tens of thousands of calories could be burnt off easily.  But with every day holding just as much food, just as many calories, just as much weight gained...

The dominos fell, and each one fell just a little heavier ---  just like her tired, aching feet as they struggled to lug along all this fat.

The strangest part, maybe the part that should scare her in a way, was that she didn't regret it, either. As she nursed her over-burdened belly, as her clothes ripped and tore under the strain of all the fat they held in, she found herself musing for the year to come.  For another thirty days of carefree binging.

She can only hope she has the sense to try and lose some of this weight, before then.

Wanted to experiment with a webtoon-style layout for a comic/sequence!

Rouge heads out for a day full of free food and "legal theft" as she calls it, only to find that day lengthened into a month of straight gorging and gluttony.  How unfortunate for her, that her greed refused to let her bow out early...  but how fortunate for us.
