So much value packed into such little time. Damn man. This was awesome. This is more of a tracking/editing concern but did you by any chance pitch correct guitar/bass DI's before processing them? Your tracks sound so perfect and what I'm puzzled by is how you're able able to get them so clean sounding so quickly. One of my biggest weaknesses in mixing is fundamentally a tracking & editing issue more than anything. I have a severe obsession with perfection and overthinking the tiniest little things that I end up wasting so much time as it takes me so long to track & edit. What I end up with in the end before I'm even able to mix is never as good as I would've hoped even with all of that obsession over tiny details.

Damn can I relate Andy. Here's the funny thing I've been noticing: in this cover - because the song is so messy - I just tuned the guitar up once, the way I thought sounded ok, instead of spending a ton of time on it like I usually do. And it turns out it just cam out right didn't it? From this cover I learned that sometimes "perfect" is just what sounds good at the time, and it's funny to see you "confirm" it in that comment! So yeah, no correction at all, and I feel like it could have made things worse somehow
