Hello Friends!

Another month has passed & so it's time to pull back the curtain & take a look at what fruits 2021 has produced so far. It's been a pretty good month, despite me not having a television for one week & having to run everything through my little second monitor. I've learnt many many things about making models & pretty much all those things once learnt have invalidated everything I've done so far. For this reason I have stopped working on the Kairi model for the minute because I already have to start over on her as it is & I predict I'm going to make many more mistakes along the way. Kairi's going to get a lot of use so she needs to be as good as I can make her so I've decided to work on some practice models for now. So most of my modelling time has been spent working on Daz/Blender versions of my Mei & Symmetra models.

As I have mentioned before I prefer a more realistic style & I wanted to see if I could up that quality of the skin textures. When people do these headhacks it seems they often have to downgrade the quality of the body to match the head, or they have to do weird things to get the extra elements to match & you wind up with skin detail effects that are massively out of scale. The theory is that by only transplanting the face (rather than all the neck & head) I can apply daz quality textures seamlessly to the whole body.

The advantages to this (as I see it) are that I get models that looks different to everyone else's & that I can use all these really helpful daz utility time savers when it comes to animating with them further down the line. What I'm doing is getting the new face parented to the original daz skeleton since that lets me use facial expression packs & most importantly the lip sync phoneme sets that all daz models come pre packaged with. This will be such an incredible time saver down the line, along with numerous other workflow advantages having all my models essentially be daz genesis 8.

Currently I am on the face bone parenting stage with Symmetra but once that's done & her her is properly attached I should be able to take her for a spin. I'm hoping to get that finished this month but there are a lot of face bones & I've had a couple of do overs already. This bit is hard and very time consuming. But the good news is that it all seems to be working. It's not been without problems but they've all somehow worked themselves out & since I've got the better skin texture stuff sorted I should be able to produce the best looking Kairi you've ever seen. It's just a rather long learning process, especially when you keep getting it wrong.

As for actual animation work we have been pushing ahead with Aquatica Erotica. The titfuck scene is now completed & a nice amount of the second BJ segment section done too. We have one of those nice close up sections with most of the work done & today I've been working on this wider shot. Nearly a minute of animation added this month which is really good, especially with the tiny screen week holding things up a little. I plan on re-using some of the wider shot again in close up, then having scout grab her hair for the final section because those two locks on either side of her head are just begging to be grabbed. I don't like re-using animation, but because of the high angle, viewing it again from a low angle closer in will let you see a bunch of detail that would be hidden otherwise. I think that's a fair reason to do it so I'm animating it with that in mind.

Then it's just the cum & the outro plus any other BJ shenanigans I decide to throw in at the end. I still have this feeling like the scene needs one more beg set piece before the cumshot but I haven't decided what form that will take. It'll be really easy to add in extra shots later though since she isn't really going to move anywhere until the very end when she swims off. Hopefully by the time I check in next month there will be jizz flying around everywhere!

And finally for the part you've all obviously skipped straight to, Eldar Narn! Which is only 3 panels away from all the posing & lighting being done. This means the next batch of pages should be out in a week or so. I'm currently sitting on 8 pages, but there are lots of panels that haven't been paged yet because I want them all together to decide how to split them up but there will probably be another 5 or 6 to come. I'm really trying to maximize the number of panels per page. Also this month it received it's very first mention ever by anyone where someone left a comment on the website! So I'm very pleased to see that someone somewhere enjoyed it. They did however comment that the early chapters have way to few panels per page, which is totally correct. That's why I'm redoubling my focus to make the pages more efficient.

And that's about it for this month. The main theme of the month seems to have been starting daz models over from scratch, but that's all part of the learning process. Hopefully I'll have it all figured out soon & we can start bringing more & more of our favourite girls to life.

Have a great February you guys. Take it easy & thank for for your time!
