Nami's body measurements were first requested by a reader in the first SBS corner during Vol 4: Syrup Village. Oda said he doesn't know but will try to measure her. Nami overhears so he just asks her permission. She says it's no problem if he can pay. He can't afford it so she leaves, but Oda promises us he'll measure her someday. Vol 6: Baratie, another question reminds Oda of the promise. Oda chuckles that his new "weird chef" friend can measure girls with just a look. Sanji comes in and rants on the insult, rants on his love for Nami, and finally reveals her sizes. The moment Oda thanks him, Oda gets whacked by Nami. He asks if he got it wrong, but she says they're right, and forgives him and runs off. Oda notices his wallet's gone. Vol 37 (WATER 7), someone reminds Oda that Nami's grown a lot, so Oda calls Sanji again, who provides Nami and Robin's present heights and body measurements (which are mentioned in this arc). This time Oda runs while Nami whacks Sanji. "Stop publicizing everything!"
