It totally slipped my mind until now but you mentioned not remembering Toph's Space Bracelet getting screen time or mentioned, so I was going to say she wore it throughout most of the show after Sokka gave her the meteor chunk. She used the soft metal as a skeleton key in the blood-bending episode, and when she and Katara were captured by Sparky Boom Man, since she left it behind for safekeeping during their scam, they couldn't use it to escape the cage.

You're totally right I forgot that the skeleton key was specifically that Meteorite. I remembered her wearing it but I remember when I was watching the series originally thinking that they'd have her use it in a final battle somehow so I guess I was waiting for that, haha.
