Sanji's backstory is really solid. Imagine being stuck on an island where you couldn't even reach the water.

Nami be like: "the real friends is the money we make along the way" XD Its painful to wait for you to get to ep 30, alot of people love this arc, i almost stoped watching one piece first time i tried because of this arc. That Peal guy was wery DBZ inspired, we as you say stil in early days Oda and many would say its in the next arc where Oda finally figures out how to do a story arc. I have become good at just going blank win the intro comes and not listen or read the thext XD even tho most of them aint that bad. Maybe some one has a list of witch intro cards are fine to watch, else i suppose i could try and make on for you.

Just from looking at the map of One Piece, you can't really say the All-Blue exists. The four seas are separated by 2 topographical lines that circle the planet perpendicular to one another, one being the Grand Line and the other being the Red Line. The All-Blue would have to be located at either of the 2 points where the 2 lines intersect, which can't be the case since, while the Grand Line is a sea, the Red Line is a giant impassible wall. So you can imagine why everyone thinks Sanji was being ridiculous. He's the One Piece equivalent of a flat earther.

I'm sure you know by now from comments, but Zeff actually did cut his own leg off and eat it in the manga.
