At the end you were theorizing about Law getting there, last you saw him he was at sabaody, but he told his crew "Hey let's go" pretty early into the war. During the actualy Sabaody Arc, they made it clear that it's VERY close to the Navy HQ, so close that after Luffy punched the Celestial Dragon, it took Kizaru almost no time to get there, so it stands to reason that Law can make the trip in the other direction with his sub-marine pretty quickly

We last saw Law at Sabaody when the broadcast was first cut off (when Aokiji froze Buggy and co) and when that happened he told his crew to set sail immediately. Additionally, one of the reasons we were told to not mess with the Celestial Dragons when we first arrived at Sabaody was that Navy Headquarters (which is Marine Ford) was so close by that an admiral would be their very quickly. Finally, when Law was first introduced his epithet was "Surgeon of Death". Oda is so cheeky sometimes with the way he feeds us info lol.
