Hero Categories

Superhuman: Heroes who inherited superhuman physical prowess falls under this category, the means to achieve Superhuman strength is numerous. It could be achieved through science or physical training. 

Augmented: A type of hero that forcibly augments themselves with cybernetics to achieve and surpass superhuman strength. They are usually paired with a devicer and their strength relies on the technology that their devicer can bring. Only a few of them exists since the technology to achieve superhuman strength is costly and risky to the individual 

Astral Hero: A type of Hero who consumed an Astral Shard and survived its after effects. The powers they obtain can range from useless (common) to mind-bendingly strong (SSR)

Undetermined: Heroes who miraculously obtained powers through inexplicable means. Supernova, the greatest hero who ever lived falls under this category.

Heroes List

Supernova

The strongest hero who ever lived. However due to unknown circumstances, she disappeared without a trace 5 years ago never to come back. She is believed to have perished along with Eden but there's nothing to prove this. Her notable feature is the fiery appearance of her hair.

Luminous

Supernova's sidekick. The greatest devicer who ever lived. Her background and origin is a mystery and she is known as the devicer who worked with Supernova and provided her equipment which eventually led to Eden's alleged demise. Her whereabouts are currently unknown as she disappeared the same time as Supernova.

Divide (name not final, i'm thinking of something cooler, if you have a suggestion leave it in the comments.)

An augmented superhuman who also consumed an Astral Shard to become the strongest hero next to Supernova. While viewed as Supernova's rival by the public and they act this rivalry together to generate a storyline that the public will follow, In reality, she is the only one aside from Luminous who knows Supernova's identity and her circumstances as to why she retired. They are best of friends. She was present in the Pandemonium Raid. While her popularity has dropped due to heroes being unpopular as before. She continues to be a hero to this day dealing with crimes and the like. She runs her own Hero agency and have only one hero under her wing. Currently, she is the next popular hero to 5tella. She is extremely conscious of her breast size. She lives in a different city named after her.

I haven't thought that far when it comes to her abilities and power.

Senkou

Also known as the blinding light, uses light to blind and shoot his foes. He wears a a jack-o-lantern looking mask to protect his eyes from his ability, .

5tella

A power rangers knock-off, they are strong and they own a mech with a huge agency backing them. They managed to stay relevant due to their own Tokusatsu Show airing on a more popular channel and timeslot. They work under an agency or corporation with its leader inspired by either Jeff Bezos or Elon musk. At the moment, the city that they live in are considering to change the name of the city to their name.

Maple Combat Revue (name not final)

Kind of a knock off of Sakura wars but they are an idol group, also similar to Revue Starlight. They are trained with elegant movements and they use different weapons.

Saji 

Saji is an individual who consumed an Astral Shard. Nothing happened to him and didn't gain any power but whenever he becomes afraid, misfortune befalls his enemies. He's not a hero, just an office worker. Kind of a comic relief character. His name is pronounced as sadge.

Ragnarok

A half-dragon. She can transform into a 50m tall lizard like Godzilla. Her mission in life is to defeat Supernova in a duel but she always loses in a comical fashion.

Ranhansha

Whenever she looks at the mirror, the reflection can walk out of the mirror to become her duplicate. Her duplicates can also make copies of themselves by doing the same. Her duplicates lasts for about a minute. She can only replicate her body but not her clothes and weapons that's why she's always naked and the Hero Channel censors her when she appears on TV. She has the second highest number of doujinshi made after her next to Supernova.

Veil 

A mysterious masked hero who rarely appears on TV. Shrouded in mystery, she is almost exclusively seen on large scale battles with Pandemonium. 

Words and Terminology

Hero Station

A television channel focusing on heroes. During the Hero Decline age, the viewership rating of the station plumetted and there are talks about the station in debt, leading to its incoming closure.

Pandemonium 

An evil organization.

I'm currently conceptualizing the enemies.

Supernova City

The main city of the story named after Supernova. Cities are named after legendary heroes who are considered to be the best that have ever lived who hailed from that city.

Astral Shard

Konpeito-shaped mineral from space that lands on random locations. It is said that consuming one, if lucky enough to survive the after effects will grant anyone with special abilities. it is theorized that it's a lifeline sent by the Gods to survive from Pandemonium. 

It is universally accepted that only those with pure intentions can obtain a power upon consuming one as those who have tried consuming one with ill intent would usually die.

Turncoat 

An alias given to heroes who uses their power to cause harm to people instead. Turncoats are prevalent during the Hero Decline.

A name given to the ruler of Pandemonium

Events

Pandemonium Raid

After discovering the Pandemonium Base, the strongest heroes were assembled to raid the base. The entire base of Pandemonium was eradicated and Eden was defeated by Supernova and Luminous. After a huge eruption, the body of Eden was found but Supernova and Luminous went missing.

Hero Decline

After the end of Pandemonium Raid, Pandemonium's activities have halted leading to the decline of the need for heroes. Most heroes retired to find new jobs and the world is now a safer place.

Mecha usage

 Some heroes or hero units use mech but mech can only be used for Large Pandemonium to avoid destroying cities.

Rules regarding Astral Shards

The government pays a huge sum of money for Astral Shards. While most people would hand it over for money, the control for consuming Astral Shards is something the government can't really track due to how sparse and small they are. They would usually force to take it from people who have it on their possession in exchange for money whether they like it or not. This is due to the fact that consuming one can endanger the life of the individual. However people sometimes decide to consume them and the government won't be able to do anything if they do so. The government is more concerned about the safety of its people and  if the powers granted to them could be beneficial for mankind, they will be offered to become a hero.

Hero / Power Rankings

Heroes are ranked not by their power but by their popularity. This is to encourage heroes to do their best to help mankind. Power disparity is set aside so that even those with trivial power can have a spotlight if they do something notable. Heroes are usually offered to join a Hero Agency to sell goods and the like.

The Hero Channel and its existence

A nationwide television channel spear-headed by the government that focuses on promoting heroes and reporting live events. The channel used to have the highest viewership until the disappearance of Pandemonium and now being considered to be canned due to the stifled usefulness of the channel. Currently they are airing recordings of live reports and documentaries of heroes from the past, majority being re-runs and the public has gotten tired of it leading to the steep viewership decline.

Hero Agencies

Supernova is one of the few heroes who don't belong to any agency, Supernova takes this a step further as she takes measures to hide her identity that not even the government knows her identity aside from Luminous and Divide. Despite this, she stayed at the top when she was active and the government didn't mind because of the money that keeps on getting funneled to them as they profited from the merchandise they sold for unlisted heroes.

Cafekun's to do some thinking list

• Think of something, a mark (kind of like a Jojo star mark) that will brand a person as someone who consumed an Astral Shard. To prove that Supernova didn't consume one.
• Decide if you're going with the Hollow-like(Bleach) Pandemonium or the original idea of villains similar to Power Rangers, an evil organization. MAKE UP YOUR MIND YOU DUMB
• Make a hero or heroes that will make a reference about Vtubers.
• If possible, come up with a hero related to a meme or anime
• Decide in the future if you want Saji be a member of 5tella
