Thoughts on : Carla Yaeger fanart (Patreon)

I've been looking to draw her for the longest time but couldn't find the moment to draw her. I was finally able to draw her this time after that Kohinata x Skyrim page.

My initial idea for a fanart was to make her dress an idol like the Ozen fanart i made years back but i figured that it won't be that interesting.

Earlier this week i came up with the idea of Armin hiding under Carla's skirt but I ended up with Eren after asking my page about it. How did I came up with this abomination of a fanart? idk it just dawned on me.

I struggled on the background, this is an issue that I always face when drawing. I sketch something and then for some reason i'll make some changes that go astray from the initial sketch thinking that i am solving the problem but there's no actual problem. It's just me. I should believe my sketches more since that is the stage where i lay the groundwork for the camera angle, background layout and more.
