Another Darby Update (Patreon)

Hi, patrons. It’s me, Darby. This holiday season has been a tough one for our family, and I wanted to let y’all know as you are my community and I’m so thankful to have all of you in my life. Curtis’s family came to California to visit us for Christmas, but just a few days after their arrival, Curtis’s dad passed away. We have spent the last week trying to make sense of it while also trying to make arrangements to get him safely back to Pennsylvania. He was genuinely the kindest, most loving man I’ve ever known, and I was so lucky to have him as my father (in-law). We are all devastated and heartbroken, but so happy we had a few good days with him and that we were all together to support one another. I don’t know what the next few weeks will look like, but I’m going to try my best to keep us on schedule. I know y’all don’t mind that the episodes may be delayed, but I wanted to let y’all know ahead of time because I’m me, and me worries. I don’t really know what else to say as I haven’t slept in about a week and my brain feels silly, so I’ll leave you with this: I love you. Thank you for your love and support. Just knowing that y’all are thinking about me and Curtis helps more than you’ll know. ❤️
