Watching the events that lead up to the main game really puts into perspective how much was sacrificed to survive the winter-pocalypse. As always, love the series

I never got into the original series for whatever reason but this one has got me hooked, might have to give it another try

Anonymous

God so if you don't ship in enough steam cores by the time the deliveries stop you just straight up lose? Good bloody luck

Anonymous

the original series is just as good, if not better (so far). idk how to describe it, but it was anxiety inducing and addicting. Similar mechanics, but different goals

Its first 2-3 episodes were definitely slow, but it needed to take its time to build into its fantastic final act. Absolutely recommend revisiting!

Is he uploading extra vids because of the downtime between the voting and the start of this series? Cuz he's uploaded so many Frostpunk vids in such a short time (Not that I'm complaining, Frostpunk is always a good watch)

Ever thought of uploading unedited videos? Would be nice to see your thought processes in the real-time.

oooohh yeah we're building up now, the first storm is approaching

Anonymous

That's what streams/vods are for, though I know this game is not streamed

Anonymous

Thats why I want them to be published in full without edits. They arent streamed.

Oh man the end of this one really builds up the tension.

I thought this ended Thank god we are getting 3 more videos

Man this game's atmosphere is so fucking cool. The way the whole vibe starts shifting once the snow finally kicks in, it feels like it's building up for that inevitable endless winter, especially with the music now growing more akin to what we're used to in the main campaign

I really love the way this games works backwards with its lore. First you have the main story which shows you surviving the winter, hearing about another settlement that failed and finding a decommissioned dreadnought. Then you pickup in the middle of that time and see how winterhome fell due to generator issues and use that dreadnought to evacuate. Finally we have gone back all the way to before the winter and see issues people had with generators exploding and the oncoming winter. I really like the continuity between these intertwined stories
