This is an overall size comparison for the different forms of my Kierrn. However I am not happy with the bipedal beast form as the legs are too bent, meaning he would be even taller than that when standing up straight. I may post a newer version of this if I get time to correct that.

So Kierrn being physically fit looking with little body fat has not much to do with their metabolisms/food intake so much as it has to do with their need to attract humans to them. If human perception turned once again to viewing fatter bodies as being more desirable, Kierrn would become fatter. Does that make sense? Because Kierrn are supernatural/magic creatures, and fed via their creator being, they can survive a great many things. Including severe hunger and thirst. Though if a Kierrn is truly starved (like haven't eaten in months regardless of if they made a kill or not), they risk blood frenzy.

And yes, Kain is seen as being unstable because he is reckless. That has always been part of his nature. He loves being a werewolf, but doesn't really like to kill, especially when he's enjoying the human part of himself. So he has pushed that envelope in the past and it has cost him. It is one of his huge weaknesses. More of this will be explored in coming books ;)
