Ominous indeed. I do like that Dora thinks the sound everyone else thinks is ominous is "happy". I glad she found her librarian, she is much happier than in her past.

I often forget that they live in a world where any device with a plug could possess sentience, if said sentience felt like ending up there. Given all the interesting stuff that happens in the shop, the respect it receives, and some of the eclectic embodiments other AI have selected, it seems surprisingly plausible.
