The currency in Lower Canada (which is sometimes mistakenly known as the “United States” when it is clearly not united) mimics that of the more advanced northern culture. In everything except the quality of life it can afford you.

OK, clearly Jeph has given us Cheshire P. Gecko just to play with skin coloration. Plaid, forsooth. (In reality, of course, you only really get that particular tartan in Highland lizards of the once-powerful Clan MacGecko.)
