I'm going to guess A.I.'s aren't allowed weapons that are lethal to humans so she either has a taser or some kind of EMP weapon. And by A.I.s I mean the ones that aren't assigned to/joined the military, cause not giving them guns would be stupid.

Except, iirc, combat AIs only fight other combat AIs? So just giving them EMPs would make sense; they're less likely to collaterally damage humans that way.

Roko seems like a cop who is not particularly good at her job takes it too seriously but is so endearing to her fellows that they can't stay mad at her even though she bumbles all the time.
