Nope, got a slightly-younger sibling - can see why you'd ask though. 😂 Really, I liked Claire a lot. But since going online with Aurelia and doling out some of Clinton's personal life, even if doing so under an avatar.. well it left this vibe of 'wow NOT cool' hanging around her. Even whilst _knowing_ she's prooobably done stuff like this before to Clinton in past. >_>; Obviously I still support Jeph (or I wouldn't be here) but it may be the first and only time in his comics I ever felt a wee bit.. alienated? Idk that's even it, but I'm off-topic enough I think. Ehm. Long reply is long, woops. OTL

For what it's worth, her behavior here bothers me. I'm the youngest of 3 or 4, depending on from which parent you count. It seems to me to mostly be the behavior of an older sibling, though of course not all older siblings. That said, if I hadn't had an early exposure to a lot of the receiving end of the behavior, who knows if I'd have adopted it with them? Earlier when she was reacting to Marten's new friendship, I could see her side well enough, despite the fact that it feels like about half the cast of QC (including her) does this from time to time. I mean, OK, to be fair, Marten was a work contact, but work contacts aren't inherently safer than random encounters. They're just safer than staged "random" encounters arranged by stalkers. I don't particularly worry about long replies, because otherwise I'd be nigh completely silent on the Internet. Proper communication takes many words, especially when one thinks differently than most people.

Maybe Jeph is laying the groundwork for Claire and Marten's breakup? Not that I want it to happen but I've been re-reading the series and I got to appreciate how the discord slowly arose with Marten and Dora and part of it was a matter of insecurity leading to jealousy. Gotta have flaws in your characters if you're gonna have drama...
