But she lost his number and years later they happened to bump into each other in the street but neither of them remembered each other because they have their own lives to worry about and only actually ever spent a few hours together but anyways they're both doing fine on their own and have reasonable happy relationships with other people that they met through boring ways like work or online dating because life isn't a romantic comedy the end.

Hmm I just realized that comment might read as a criticism of the Clinton/Brun subplot; it was not intended as such. I enjoy the fuck out of this comic and it continually veers off in unexpected and interesting directions that seem to naturally arise from the interactions of well-developed characters rather than being forced down a predetermined path by some omniscient puppetmaster. I also realized that I probably shouldn't be posting things on comment sections while sleep-deprived. I'mma take a nap now.

I once spent an interesting evening with a girl, she had recently lost her phone and just gave me her email. Apparently my email to her never arrived because a long time later I was in a bar, helping my friend score and so I talked to this girls friend, she said "don't you remember me?" We never did hook up, it just wasn't meant to be.
